Overview: TUSHY is a bidet attachment company whose goal is to create a cleaner, more sustainable pooping experience – one clean butt at a time. During my time at TUSHY, I conceptualized and designed responsive web pages, marketing advertisements, emails, and social media content.
01. Evergreen collage aesthetic
When I first started working at TUSHY, we were in the process of establishing a new visual identity to disrupt the bidet attachment space. The end result combines playful, minimalist collage imagery, a fresh color palette, and TUSHY’s signature tongue-in-cheek humor to create a unique “surprise and delight” customer experience.
02. Hole-idays 2021
Just before the holiday season, my team was faced with an important question: how do we ensure that our ads sell our product, but still look aesthetically beautiful? The answer to that question came in the form of an aesthetic that utilizes punchy, holiday colors and a minimal duotone aesthetic that lets our products be the star.
03. Pride 2021 – Finding the most bottom-friendly bar in America
For this campaign, I worked closely with TUSHY’s Community Manager to help bring this initiative to life. Together, we concepted the creative direction for this campaign, which uses silly collages incorporating TUSHY bidets, bright bisexual flag colors, and elements from gay nightlife.
04. Black History Month 2021
Awareness campaign highlighting small, black-owned businesses. For this campaign, we partnered up with Adriana Bellet (Jeez Vanilla), a black editorial illustrator known for her fun, spirited, and colorful portraits to highlight not only the businesses, but the business owners as well.
05. Butt Buddies 2021
For this campaign, my team took it back to the 90s. The visual direction for this campaign plays heavily into the nostalgia factor of TUSHY’s core audience (Millennials). It incorporates hand-drawn stickers of iconic 90s trinkets and a bright color palette with TUSHY’s usual collage aesthetic.
06. TUSHY Crapped 2021 (Spotify Wrapped Parody)
What would happen if you had a recap for all the poops you took in a year? Meet TUSHY Crapped, TUSHY’s unhinged parody of the iconic Spotify Wrapped. For this project, I worked closely with TUSHY’s Senior Marketing Manager & Community Manager to ideate content, write copy (based on TUSHY 2021 statistics), and concept the art direction (illustrations done by me) for this organic social series.
06. Miscellaneous Design + Memes
Various designs and memes I made for TUSHY paid and organic social. (Fun fact: the Kermit meme did 3x better on engagement than an average TUSHY post.)
